Text Message Programs
MDMD Investments, LLC operates a small number of text message programs for the products it builds. This page explains what they are, how someone joins one, and how to stop. No text messages are sent from this website and no mobile number is ever entered here.

02The programs
- Surf Trip Supply — +1 213 510 3359. Operational alerts for staff: scheduling and day-to-day reminders about work. Not marketing.
- Surf Trip Supply, Malibu store — +1 323 988 4220. Two kinds of message on one number. Customers who book a visit at book.surftrip.supply and agree on the confirmation page receive appointment confirmations, reminders and changes about that booking. Staff who text JOIN receive the day’s schedule, booking and reschedule alerts, and notice when a system goes down and when it is back. Neither is marketing.
- Florword — +1 562 303 5438. Game notifications for a private daily word game played by a small invited group: a reminder that the day’s round is open, and results among that group.
Each program is separate. Joining one does not join you to any other.
03How to join
Text the word JOIN to the number for that program, from the mobile phone you want the messages on. You will get one reply confirming that you are in. That is the whole of it — there is no form to fill in, here or anywhere else.
Customers of the Malibu store are the one exception: if you book a visit at book.surftrip.supply, you agree to appointment messages on the confirmation page at the time of booking, and there is nothing to text.
Joining is entirely optional, and nothing else depends on it. We do not message anyone who has not asked for it, either by texting JOIN or by agreeing at the time of booking.
04How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to leave the program. It takes effect immediately and you will get one confirmation. Reply HELP to any message for help, and you will get a reply telling you who we are and how to reach us.
05Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply — those are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us. We charge nothing for any of these programs.
06Your number and your consent
When you text JOIN, your mobile number and the record of that consent are held by our messaging provider and used only to send that program’s messages.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
